Uninstalling Phone E6B
How to uninstall without an internet connection
Troubleshooting: Phone E6B shows an uninstall code during start up
Phone E6B contains an Uninstall function, located on the main menu of functions below Troubleshoot.
You should uninstall Phone E6B if:
If you wish to update the software to the latest version, you should not uninstall the software first.
- you want to permanently transfer Phone E6B from one phone to another (for example you are permanently replacing your
phone with another one), or
- you are going to perform a factory reset on your phone
The uninstall function tells the Phone E6B licensing server that you have uninstalled the software, and then the licensing
server releases your license so that you can install Phone E6B again. Do not use the operating system's built in
uninstall commands until you use Phone E6B's Uninstall function. If you do not use Phone E6B's uninstall function,
the licensing server has no proof that you uninstalled the software and will not release your license.
The uninstall function is not intended for individuals who purchase a single-device license and want to use the software
on more than one device. You may not use the uninstall function to repeatedly switch the software back and forth between two devices.
If you want to use the software on several devices, you can purchase a second license at a discounted price.
We monitor the use of the uninstall function and expect that you will not use the uninstall function frequently.
We reserve the right to inquire about an individual's use of uninstall/reinstall or
to deny an individual the ability to reinstall the software for free, in cases where the pattern of use appears suspicious.
You should use this procedure if your phone cannot obtain an internet connection.
